ORD 2099 ORDINANCE NO ,
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 40 , 000 . 00
from the General Fund to pay for overtime costs in
the Fire Department , appropriating $ 35 ,000 . , 001rom
the Emergency Rescue Fund to pay for overtime
costs for paramedics , transferring $ 19 , 000 . 00from
the General Fund to the Benton Street Capital
Proj ect Fund , and appropriating $ 19 , 000 . 00 from
the Benton Street Capital Proj ect Fund to pay for
expenses in excess of the budgeted amount for the
Benton Street improvements .
WHEREAS , the City has incurred overtime expenses in the Fire and Paramedic
Departments resulting from increased call volume and employee injuries , and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of such expenses is $ 75 , 000 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the General Fund and the
Emergency Rescue Fund to pay for such expenditure ,
WHEREAS , the Benton Street Improvement Project is approximately $19 , 000 . 00 aver
budget , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated monies in the General Fund for payment
of such expenditure ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 405000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from the General Fund to pay for overtime
costs in the Fire Department , and as allocated at follows :

Section IV
Ordinance 2045 and the Budget for the City of Camas for the Year 1996 are amended to
