ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 21 , 000 . 00
from the General Fund to pay for additional
expenses in the library re - roofing project , and
amending the Budget for the Year 1996 to provide
for such expenditure .
WHEREAS , the City has previously approved a library remodeling project which
includes re - roofing and structural modifications to the library building , and
WHEREAS , the tile material specified for the replacement of the library roof is no longer
available , and
WHEREAS , the replacement material will result in additional costs of $ 21 , 000 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the General Fund to pay for such
expenditure ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE, CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 21 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated funds in the General
Fund to pay for roofing expenses in the library remodeling project , and is allocated as follows :

Section II
Ordinance 2045 and the Budget for the City of Camas for the Year 1996 are amended to
provide for the aforestated expenditure .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
