ORD 2086 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 30 , 000 . 00 from the general
Fund to pay for architect fees and construction costs for the library
modification project in excess of previously budgeted amounts ,
and amending the budget for the year 1996 to provide for such
expenditure .
WHEREAS , the City budgeted $ 176 , 000 . 00 for re - roofing and structural modifications to
the library building , and
WHEREAS , the City has let this project to bids and the low bid was $ 14 , 000 . 00 over the
budgeted amount , and
WHEREAS , the City has also included an obligation of $ 16 , 000 . 00 for architect fees for
the library remodel prof ect , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the General Fund to pay for such
expenditure ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 30 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated funds in the General
Fund to pay for architect fees of $ 16 , 000 . 00 included in the library remodel prof ect , and
construction costs of $ 14 , 000 . 00 in excess of the budgeted amount for the library remodel
project . Such appropriation is allocated as follows :

Section II
Ordinance No . 2045 and the budget for the City of Camas for the year 1996 are amended
to provide for the afore stated expenditure .
Section III
