ORD 2084 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 18 , 500 . 00 from the
General Fund to pay for arbitrators expenses in negotiations
with IAFF , additional negotiator expenditures for labor
negotiations with AFSMCE , and to purchase a treadmill for the
use of City employees , and amending the budget for the year
1996 to provide for such expenditure .
WHEREAS , the Wellness Committee would like to purchase a treadmill for $ 3 , 100 . 00 , of
which only $ 650 . 00 was budgeted ; and
WHEREAS , negotiations with IAFF necessitated the biring of an arbitrator at an expense to
the City of $ 2 , 613 . 00 ; and
WHEREAS , the City continues to be involved in ongoing labor negotiations with AFSMCE
and anticipates additional expenses of approximately $ 13 , 400 . 00 ; and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the General Fund that pay for such
expenditures ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS
AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 18 , 500 . 00 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated funds in the General Fund
to pay for the cost of a treadmill , arbitrator expenses from negotiations with IAFF , and the anticipated
labor negotiator expenses for negotiations with AFSMCE , and is allocated as follows :

Section II
Ordinance No . 2045 and the budget for the City of Camas for the year 1996 are amended to

Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
