ORD 2083 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE adding a new section to Chapter 18 . 08 of the
Camas Municipal Code setting forth regulations for the use of
trailer coaches , campers , motor homes , and manufactured/mobile
homes as construction offices .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
There is hereby added to Chapter 8 . 44 of the Camas Municipal Code a new section to
provide as follows :
8 . 44 . 015 - Construction Offices :
A . It shall be unlawful for any person to use a trailer coach , camper , motor
home , or manufactured/mobile home as a construction office for a
residential or other structure without first obtaining written approval for
such purpose from the Public Works Department .
B . The Public Works Department is authorized to issue written approval for a
trailer coach , camper , motor home , or manufactured/mobile home to be
utilized as a construction office if it finds that such use will have no
adverse impact on neighboring properties or on the health , safety , and
general welfare of the public . In issuing such written approval , the Public
Works Director shall impose such conditions and restrictions on location ,
occupancy , and duration as may be necessary to protect the health , safety ,
and general welfare of the public .
C . Any person aggrieved by a decision of the Public Works Department
granting or denying written approval under this section may appeal such
decision to the Board of Adjustment by filing a written notice of appeal
with the City Clerk within twenty (20 ) days from the date of the Public
Works Department ' s decision to grant or deny such permit .
Section II
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
