ORD 2080 ORDINANCE NO * C)
AN ORDINANCE transferring $ 50 , 000 . 00 from
the General Fund to the Street Fund , appro -
priating $ 50 , 000 . 00 from the Street Fund to
pay for sidewalk improvements , and amending
the Budget for the Year 1996 to provide for
such expenditure .
WHEREAS , the City and Camas School District have adopted a
walking hazard elimination safety program for young students attending
the Camas schools , and
WHEREAS , the program requires the construction of sidewalks on
portions of the west and east sides of N . E . Everett Street from
N . E . 23rd Avenue to N . E . 14th Avenue , and
WHEREAS , the project requires construction of an additional
sidewa ik on N . E . 22nd Avenue , and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of such sidewalk construction is
$ 50 , 000 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the
General Fund to pay for such expenditure , now , therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 50 , 000 . 00 i s hereby ' transferred from the General.
Fund to the Street Fund .
Section II
The s uni of $ 50 , 000 . 00 i s hereby appropriated from the Street
Fund to pay for sid. ewal. k construction , and is allocated as follows .

Section III
Ordinance 2045 and the Budget for the City of Camas for the

order of the superior court in the county in which it is published and
it is now and has been for more than six months prior to the date of
