AN ORDINANCE transferring $ 550 , 000 . 00 from
the Water Sewer Capital Reserve Fund to the
Sewer Treatment Plant Fund , appropriating
$ 550 , 000 . 00 from the Sewer Treatment Plant
Fund to pay for the Sewer Treatment Plant
clarifier project and other upgrades to the
existing Sewer Treatment Plant , and amending
the budget for the year 1996 to provide for
such expenditure .
WHEREAS , the City had previously budgeted $ 750 , 000 . 00 for
the Sewer Treatment Plant clarifier project ; and
WHEREAS , the City has called for bids on said project and
the successful bidder ' s bid is $ 1 , 134 , 152 . 00 ; and
WHEREAS , the City also desires to undertake additional upgrades
to the existing Sewer Treatment Plant at an estimated cost of
$ 91 , 730 . 00 ; and
WHEREAS , there are additional estimated expenses for engineering
costs for the clarifier project and facility plan of $ 74 , 118 . 00 ; and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the
Water Sewer Capital Reserve Fund to pay for such expenditures ,
NOW , THEREFORE , be it ordained by the Council of the City
of Camas as follows .
Section I
The sum of $ 550 , 000 . 00 is hereby transferred from the Water
Sewer Capital Reserve Fund to the Sewer Treatment Plant Fund .
Section II
The sum of $ 550 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from the Sewer
Treatment Plant Fund to pay for the Sewer Treatment Plant clarifier
project , related engineering costs , and additlona .l upgrades to
the Sewer Treatment Plant , and is allocated as follows .

Section III
Ordinance 2045 and the budget for the City of Camas for the
