ORD 2069 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE transferring $ 305 , 500 . 00 from
the Growth Management Capital. Projects Fund
to the Police Facility Fund , appropriating
$ 305 , 500 . 00 for site improvements and street
improvements for the new police facility , and
amending the Budget for the Year 1996 to
provide for such expenditure .
WHEREAS , the Council desires at this time to undertake preliminary
site preparation for the new police facility , and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of clearing , grading , installing
utilities and building a retaining wall on the site is $ 176 , 500 . 00 ,
and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of half street improvements to
N . E . Third Avenue adjacent to the facility is $ 117 , 500 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , the existing local improvement district assessment
owing against the property has a balance of $ 11 , 435 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the
Growth Management Capital Projects Fund to be transferred to the
Police Facility Fund to pay for such expenditures , now , therefore ,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
The sum of $ 305 , 500 . 00 is hereby transferred from the Growth
Management Capital Projects Fund to the Police Facility Fund .
Section II
The sum of $ 305 , 500 . 00 is hereby appropriated from the Police
Facility Fund to pay for site improvements , half street improvements ,
and the local improvement district assessment for the police facility
site , and is allocated as follows

Section III:
Ordinance No . 2045 and the Budget for the Year 1996 are amended

This ordinance shall take farce and be in effect f 1 ( 5 )
days from and after its publication according to law .
