ORD 2067 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE appropriating the sum of $ 220 , 000 . 00
to pay for professional services for structural
engineering review , hazardous materials review , and
building plan review for the TSMC facility , and
amending the budget for the year 1996 to provide for
such expenditure .
WHEREAS , Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company ( TSMC )
has announced. plans to construct a manufacturing facility within
the City of Camas , and
WHEREAS , the TSMC facility will require a structual engineering
review , a hazardous materials review , and a building plan review ,
and
WHEREAS , the council has determined that such reviews are
best conducted by third party consultants , and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of the professional services for
such reviews is $ 220 , 000 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the
general fund to pay for such expenditures , now , therefore ,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
The sum of $ 220 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from the general
fund to pay for professional service agreements in conjunction
with the TSMC facility , and is allocated as follows .

Section II
