AN ORDINANCE creating the Parker Street
Capital Pro j ect Fund for the design a nd con -
struction of the extension of Parker Street
north from N . W . 38th Avenue ; transferring
from the Growth Management Cap ]_ to ]. Pro j ects
Fund to the Parker Street Capital. Project
Fund the sum of $ 355 , 000 . 00 ; appropriating
from the Parker Street Capital Project Fund
the sum of $ 355 , 000 . 00 to pay for preliminary
design , environmental assessments , and final
design for the Parker Street extension ; and
amending the Budget for the Year 1996 to
provide for such expenditure .
WHEREAS ` the Council desires to proceed with the extension
of Parker Street from its terminus at N . W . 38th Avenue north to
S . E . First Street , and
WHEREAS , the Council further desires to create a separate
fund for the payment of expenses incurred in the design and construction
of the Parker Street extension , and
WHEREAS , the staff has estimated that the preliminary design of
the Parker Street extension will _ cost $ 95 , 000 . 00 , that environmental_
assessments for the alignment of the Parker Street extension w .111
cost $ 115 , 000 - 00 , and that the flna. J design of the Parker Street
extension will cost $ 145 , 000 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds i. n the
Growth Management Projects Fund to be transferred to the Parker
Street Capital Projects Fund to pay for such expenditure , now ,
therefore ,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
There is hereby created in the Office of the Treasurer of
the City of Camas a fund of the C i ty to be known as the Parker
Street Capital Pro j ect Fund . Said Fund is hereby created for payment
of the costs and expenses to be .incurred in the design and construction
of the Parker Street extension north from N . W . 38th Avenue . All
monies deposited in said Fund shall_ be used solely for sand purposes .
Section II
The sum of $ 355 , 000 . 00 is hereby transferred from the Growth
Management Capital. Projects Fund to the Parker Street Capital Project
Fund .

Section III
The sum of $ 355 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from the Parker
Street Capital Project Fund to pay for preliminary design , environmental
assessments , and final design of the Parker Street extension , and
is allocated as follows .
