ORD 2062 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE transferring $ 30 , 000 . 00 from
the General Fund to the Street Fund , and
appropriating $ 30 , 000 . 00 from the Street
Fund to pay for improvements to N . W . Lake
Road , and amending the Budget for the Year
1996 to provide for such expenditure .
WHEREAS , when the Council adopted the 1996 budget , it appro -
priated moneys for the improvement of N . W . Lake Road , and
WHEREAS , the Council has heretofore called for bids on said
project , and
WHEREAS , the lowest bid came in at $ 30 , 000 . 00 over the budgeted
amount , and
WHEREAS , the Council desires to proceed with said improvement ,
and there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the General Fund
to pay for such additional costs , now , therefore ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 30 , 000 . 00 is hereby transferred from the General
Fund to the Street Fund .
Section II
The sum of $ 30 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated
funds in the Street Fund to pay that amount of the contract price
in excess of the amount previously budgeted for improvements to
N . W . Lake Road , and is allocated as follows :

Section III
Ordinance 2045 and the Budget of the City of Camas for the
Year 1996 are amended to provide for the aforestated expenditure .
Section IV
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 )
days from and after its publication according to law .
