AN ORDINANCE amending Secti. on 2 , 64 . 020 ( B )
of the Camas Municipal Code by establishing
the rate of pay for volunteer f iref ighters
to $ 8 . 00 per response and $ 8 . 00 per hour
after the first hour , establishing a rate of
pay for EMS volunteers of $ 8 . 00 per response
and $ 8 . 00 per hour after the first hour , pro -
viding for payment of $ 16 . 00 to EMS volunteers
for attendance at EMS drills and approved EMS
training seminars , and establishing a rate of
pay for reserve police officers and court
security officers of $ 12 . 00 per hour .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
Section 2 . 64 . 020 ( B ) of the Camas Municipal Code is amended
to read as follows .
2 . 64 . 020 - Official Pay Plan - Salaries for Positions Not
included .
B . The following positions and / or types of employment
are not included in the official pay plan of the
City and shall be paid as follows :
Fire Department :
Volunteer firefighter $ 8 . 00 per fire call and
$ 8 . 00 per hour after
the f irst hour
$ 16 . 00 for participation
at fire department drills
and approved training
seminars .
Emergency Rescue Service :
Paid firefighter not in bar -
gaining unit but emergency
medical technician certified $ 37 . 00 per month
Volunteer firefighter and
paid firefighter not in bar -
gaining unit but IV techni -
cian certified $ 18 . 00 per calf. or
$ 27 , 00 if call is over
1 hour 45 minutes
Volunteer firefighter and
paid firefighter not in bar -
gaining unit but emergency
medical technician certified $ 16 . 00 per call or
