ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 160 , 000 . 00 from the Public
Works Trust Fund to pay for the design of the extension of the Water
and Sewer lines on NW 3 8th Avenue , and amending the Budget for
2008 to provide for such expenditure . .
WHEREAS , the City has entered into a contract for design engineering of the extension of water
and sewer lines on NW 3 8th Avenue , and
WHEREAS , this expenditure was not provided for in the 2008 Budget , and
WHEREAS , the City has received a $ 160 , 000 . 00 loan , and
WHEREAS , the terms of the loan require the City to match fifteen percent ( 15 % ) of the prof ect

funds , and

WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds from collected systems development
charges in the Public Works Trust Fund to pay for the City ' s matching share of the prof ect,
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS
AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
There is hereby appropriated from the Public Works Trust Fund the sum of $ 160 , 000 . 00 to be
allocated as follows :

Section II
Ordinance No . 2500 and the Budget for the year 2008 are amended to provide for the
aforestated expenditure .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
