ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 20 , 000 . 00 from the General
Fund to pay for operating costs for the abatement of a public nuisance
at 1936 SE 6th Avenue , and amending the budget for 2008 to provide
for such expenditure .
WHEREAS , the house at 1936 SE 6th Avenue was damaged by fire and now constitutes a public
nuisance , and
WHEREAS , the City has completed the nuisance abatement process , and
WHEREAS , it is estimated that it will cost $ 20 , 000 . 00 to raze the burned structure , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the General Fund to pay for such
expenditure .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS
AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund the sum of $ 20 , 000 . 00 to be allocated as
follows :

Section II
Ordinance No . 2500 and the Budget for the year 2008 are amended to provide for the
aforestated expenditure .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
