ORDINANCE NO. a51 &
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 100,000.00 from the General
Fund to pay for operating costs for the Camas Cemetery, and
amending the budget for 2008 to provide for such expenditure.
WHEREAS, when the City acquired the Camas Cemetery in 2007, the City created a Cemetery
Fund which was funded with a contribution of $ 137,444.21 from the Camas Cemetery Association., and
WHEREAS, the fiords in the Cemetery Fund have been used to pay for operating costs in
2007 and 2008, and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that it will take an additional $ 100,000. 00 to pay operating expenses
for the remainder of 2008, and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the General Fund to pay for such
expenditure.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS
AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund the sum of $ 100,000 .00 to be allocated
as follows :

Section It
Ordinance No. 2500 and the Budget for the year 2008 are amended to provide for the
aforestated expenditure.
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five (5) days from and after its publication
according to law.
