ORD 2507 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE adopting standards for the regulation and
control of vehicular access and connection points of ingress to , and
egress from , city streets that are designated as state highways .
WHEREAS , RCW 47 . 50 . 030 ( 3 ) requires city and towns to adopt standards for access
permitting on streets designated as state highways which meet or exceed the Department of
Transportation standards ; and
WHEREAS , the Washington Department of Transportation has adopted Chapter 468 - 52
of the Washington Administrative Code , which sets forth an Access Control Classification
System and Standards for the regulation and control of vehicular ingress to and egress from the
state highway system ; and
WHEREAS , the Washington Department of Transportation has adopted Chapter 468 - 51
of the Washington Administrative Code , which establishes Permit Application Process and
Procedures for connection points of ingress to and egress from the state highway system ,
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
There is hereby added to the Camas Municipal Code a new section to provide as ' follows :
Section 10 . 44 . 010 Highway Access Management - Adopted Standards
A . Chapter 468 - 52 of the Washington Administrative Code ,
and any amendments subsequently made thereto , are
adopted by reference as the Access Control
Classification System and Standards for city streets
designated as state highways .
Be Chapter 468 - 51 of the Washington Administrative Code ,
and any amendments subsequently made thereto , are
adopted as the Permit Application Process and
Procedures for ingress to and egress from city streets
designated as state highways .
Section II
There is hereby added to the Camas Municipal Code a new section to provide as follows .
Section 10 . 44 . 020 Conflict
In the event of any conflict between the provisions of this
chapter and the City Land Development Code , the more
restrictive standard shall apply .

Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
