ORD 2604 ORDINANCE NO . 2604
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 125 , 000 . 00 from the General
Fund to pay for construction of an entrance ramp at the Community
Center, to transfer $ 60 , 000 . 00 to the Street Fund and amending the
Budget for the year 2010 to provide for such expenditure .
WHEREAS , the City received a Community Development Block Grant to construct an entrance
ramp at the Community Center to be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and
WHEREAS , the project had been budgeted for $ 50 , 000 . 00 but the actual cost of the project is
$ 105 , 000 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , the appropriation will be funded from the Community Development Block Grant,
and
WHEREAS , repairs are needed on the Dallas Street Bridge after significant damage occurred after
a motorist hit the guardrail .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS
AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund the sum of $ 655000 . 00 to pay for
construction of an entrance ramp at the Community Center and $ 60 , 000 . 00 to be transferred to the
Street Fund . Said appropriation shall be allocated as follows :

Section II

Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
