ORD 2605 ORDINANCE NO . 02
AN ORDINANCE transferring $ 60, 000 from the General Fund to
the Street Fund, and appropriating $282 , 000 . 00 from the Street Fund
to pay for the construction of sidewalk ramps in the Evergreen Terrace
Neighborhood, for repairs to the guard rail on Dallas Street over the
Mill Ditch, and amending the budget for the year 2010 to provide for
such expenditure .
WHEREAS , the City received a federal grant to construct sidewalk ramps in the Evergreen
Terrace Neighborhood to be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and
WHEREAS , the construction costs will be funded with a Community Development Block
Grant, and
WHEREAS , the low bid for the project was $221 , 826 . 00, and
WHEREAS , significant damage occurred when a motorist hit the guard rail on Dallas Street over
the Mill Ditch, and
WHEREAS , the cost of such repair was $ 16, 650 . 00 for a structural engineer and repair costs of
$43 , 950 . 00, and
WHEREAS , this appropriation will be funded from a transfer from the General Fund for
$ 609000 . 003
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS
AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
There is hereby transferred from the General Fund to the Street Fund the sum of $60 , 000 . 00 .
Section II
There is hereby appropriated from the Street Fund the sum of $282 , 000 . 00 to pay for
construction of sidewalk ramps in the Evergreen Terrace Neighborhood and for repairs to the
guard rail on Dallas Street over the Mill Ditch. Said appropriation shall be allocated as follows :

Section III
