ORD 2599 ORDINANCE NO, 2599
AN ORDINANCE Repealing All Sections of Chapter 12.24 and
adopting a new Chapter 12.24 with new guidelines for naming
streets and avenues in the City of Camas.
The Council of the City of Camas do ordain as follows:
Section I
Chapter 12.24 of the Camas Municipal Code is hereby repealed.
Section II
A new Chapter 12.24 is hereby adopted in the form attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and by
this reference incorporated herein.
Section III
This Ordinance shall take force and be in effect five (5) days from and after its
publication according to law.

The Community Development Department is responsible for the naming of all streets in the City of
Camas.
12.24.020 Street Naming Manual — Adopted
The city' s method and standards for naming streets are contained in Street Naming Manual as originally
adopted by resolution number 1197 or as revised.
12.24.040 Map-- Adopted
The map of the city entitled "Street Naming Address Grid, " is adopted as the official street naming guide
for the City of Camas. The official grid is at 260-foot intervals and displayed at a scale of one inch equals
1 ,400 feet.
12.24.050 Continuance
Streets named prior to the effective date of the "Street Naming Manual" and are included on the adopted
"Street Naming Address Grid" are the official street names.
