AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 34 , 000 . 00 from
the Emergency Rescue Fund to pay for overtime
salaries for paramedic personnei , and ambulance
repairs , and amending- the budget for the year
1995 to provide for such expenditure .
WHEREAS , the volume of ambulance calls in 1995 has increased
more than twenty ( 20o ) percent from 1994 , and
WHEREAS , such increase in ambulance calls has resulted in
the City incurring an additional $ 30 , 000 . 00 in overtime pay for
paramedic personnel , and
WHEREAS , the 1991 Chevrolet ambulance has required numerous
repairs at a cost of $ 4 , 000 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the
Emergency Rescue Fund to pay for such expenditures , now , therefore ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 34 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated
funds in the Emergency Rescue Fund to pay for overtime expenses
incurred by paramedic personnel and for repairs to the 1991 Chevrolet
ambulance . Said funds are allocated as fo �ilows :

Section II
Ordinance 2011 and the Budget of the City of Camas for the

days from and after its pubiication according to law .
