AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 84 , 350 . 00
from the general fund to pay for salaries and
personnel benefits for employees granted cost
of living increases and salary adjustments ,
and amending the budget for the year 1995 to
provide for such expenditures .
WHEREAS , the City has heretofore adopted resolutions granting
cost of living increases and salary adjustments to employees of
the City , and
WHEREAS , the estimated cost of said cost of living increases
and salary adjustments is $ 84 , 350 . 00 , and
WHEREAS , said expense was not provided for in the 1995
budget , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the
general fund to pay for such expense , now therefore ,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 84 , 350 . 00 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated
funds in the general fund to pay for cost of living adjustments and
salary increases for employees of the City , and is allocated as
set forth in Schedule A attached hereto and by this reference
incorporated herein .
Section II
Ordinance 2011 and the budget for the City of Camas for the
year 1995 are amended to provide for the aforestated expenditure .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 )
days from and after its publication according to law .
PASSED by the Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this
day of September , 1995 .
