ORD 2033 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE adding a new sub - section to
Section 13 . 40 .01. 0 of the Camas Municipal Code
by adopting regulations for water meters for
multi - family residential units .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
There is hereby added to Section 13 . 40 . 010 of the Camas Municipal
Code a new sub - section to provide as follows :
13 . 40 . 010 - Meters - Installation - Reading - Accurac .
q . Separate water meters shall be installed for
each dwelling unit in a townhouse , condominium ,
or other multi - family dwelling configuration
where individual dwelling units are separately
owned . Single meters may he installed to
serve multi - family residential structures
when said structures and the units therein
remain under a single ownership .
Section II
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 )
days from and after its publication according to law .
PASSED by the Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this
day of August , 1995 .
