AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 10 , 000 . 00 from
the General Fund to pay for labor negotiation
expenses and for the compensation study performed
by the Local Government Personnel Institute , and
amending the Budget of the City of Camas for the
year 1994 to provide for such expenditure .
WHEREAS , the City has commissioned the Local Government Personnel
Institute to undertake a compensation study for certain employees ,
and
WHEREAS , the City has incurred expenses in conducting labor
negotiations with bargaining units for the city employees , and .
WHEREAS , such expenses are in excess of anticipated expenses
for 1994 and were not provided for in the 1994 Budget , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the
General Fund to pay for such expenditure , now , therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS FOLLOWS
Section I
The sum of $ 10 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated
funds in the General Fund and allocated as follows :

Section II
Ordinance 1965 and the Budget of the City of Camas for the
year 1994 are amended to provide for the aforestated expenditure .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 )
days from and after its publication according to law .
