MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
THIS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING made this day by and between the
CITY OF CAMAS , a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, hereinafter referred to as
" Camas ", and EVERGREEN SCHOOL DISTRICT 114 , a municipal corporation of the State of
Washington, hereinafter referred to as "Evergreen" .
RECITALS
1 . Camas is engaged in a road improvement project to SE Lake Road and SE 1st Street.
2 . Evergreen owns real property abutting SE 1st Street .
3 . Camas needs to acquire from Evergreen a portion of Evergreen ' s property for
purposes of its road improvement project .
4 . The parties have agreed to the property to be sold to Camas , the compensation to be
paid for such property , and other matters relating to said acquisition.
5 . The parties desire to set forth their agreement in writing .
NOW , THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION OF THE MUTUAL COVENANTS
CONTAINED HEREIN , THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS :
1 . Camas will purchase and Evergreen will sell the property described in Exhibits "A1 -
A5 " and illustrated in Exhibits ` B1 - B5 which exhibits are attached hereto and by this
reference incorporated herein.
2 . As consideration for said purchase , Camas shall :

2 . 1 Pay to Evergreen the sum of $ 82 , 400 . 00 at closing .
2 . 2 . Upgrade at Camas ' expense the traffic signal at the intersection of NW
Friberg Street and SE I " Street to include a right turn signal head for southbound traffic on NW
Friberg Street.
2 . 3 . Extend at Camas ' expense the left turn lane on SE 1St Street at NW Friberg
Street as illustrated in Exhibit " C " , attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein.
3 . Evergreen agrees at Evergreen ' s expense to incorporate fiberoptic conduit design and
installation for Camas ' use into the School District ' s required half- street improvements for NW
Friberg Street .
