AN ORDINANCE adopting by reference Sections
41 51 61 7 , 10 , 11 , 12 , and 23 of Chapter 275 ,
Laws of 1994 and RCW 46 . 20 . 730 , as amended by
Section 23 of Chapter 275 , Laws of 1994 .
WHEREAS , the state legislature has adopted the " 1994 Omnibus
Drunk Driving Act " , which revises penalties associated with driving
under the influence of alcohol or drugs , and.
WHEREAS , said act amends some statutes that are part of the
Model Traffic Ordinance ( Chapter 308 - 330 Washington Administrative
Code ) , which are automatically included in the Model Traffic Ordinance ,
and
WHEREAS , said act also enacts some new statutory sections
relating to driving under the influence that are not automatically
part of the Model Traffic Ordinance until they are adopted by the
Department of Licensing , and
WHEREAS , the Department of Licensing is not expected to adopt
the new regulations for a number of months , now , therefore ,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
Sections 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 10 , 11 , and 12 of Chapter 275 , Laws of
1994 , are hereby adopted by reference as if set forth in full herein .
Section II
RCW 46 . 20 . 730 , as amended by Section 23 of Chapter 275 , Laws
of 1994 , is hereby adopted by reference as if set forth in full
herein .
Section III
This ordinance shall take effect from and after July 1 , 1994 .
