AN ORDINANCE adopting by reference the
Washington Model Traffic Ordinance ( MTO )
as contained in the Washington Administrative
Code , Chapter 308 - 330 , to regulate traffic
in the City of Camas , Washington , and repealing
Chapter 10 . 04 of the Camas Municipal Code .
WHEREAS , the state legislature has provided that Chapter 46 . 90 ,
Revised Code Washington , which contained the Washington Model Traffic
Ordinance , will expire on July 1 , 1994 ; and
WHEREAS , the provisions of the Washington Model Traffic Ordinance
have been readopted in the Washington Administrative Code in Chapter
308 - 330 , which will become effective on July 1 , 1994 ; now , therefore ,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
ADOPTION BY REFERENCE
The " Washington Model Traffic Ordinance , " Chapter 308 - 330
Washington Administrative Code , is hereby adopted by reference
as the traffic ordinance for the City of Camas as set forth in
full herein , except for those sections expressly not adopted in
Section II .
Section II
SECTIONS NOT ADOPTED
The following sections of the Model Traffic Ordinance are
not adopted by reference and are expressly deleted . WAC 308 - 330 - 500 ,
308 - 330 - 5051 308 - 330 - 510 , 308 - 330 - 515 , 308 - 330 - 520 , 308 - 330 - 525 ,
308 - 330 - 530 , 308 - 330 - 5351 308 - 330 - 540 , 308 - 330 - 600 , 308330610 ,
308 - 330 - 6201 308 - 330 - 630 , 308 - 330 - 640 , 308 - 330 - 650 , and 308 - 330 - 660 .
Section III
REPEAL
Chapter 10 . 04 of the Camas Municipal Code and all ordinances
and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed .
Section IV
SAVINGS CLAUSE
The repeal of Chapter 10 . 04 of the Camas Municipal Code shall
not affect any pending or existing litigation and does not operate

as an abatement or bar to any action or proceeding pending under
or by virtue of the repealed ordinance .
Section V
SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this ordinance or its application to any
person or circumstance is held invalid , the remainder of the ordinance ,
or the application of the provision to other persons or circumstances
shall not be affected .
Section VI
EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance shall take effect from and after July 1 , 1994 .
