AN ORDINANCE levying the ad valorem taxes for
the Emergency Rescue Fund for the fiscal year
ending December 31 , 2010 , and repealing
Ordinance No . 2566 .
WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Camas has met and considered its budget for the
calendar year 2010 , and
WHEREAS , the City ' s actual levy amount for the Emergency Rescue Fund for the
previous year was One Million One Hundred Two Thousand One Hundred Eighteen Dollars and
Forty Cents ( $ 1 , 102 , 118 . 40 ) , and
WHEREAS , the population of the City is more than ten thousand persons ,
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS as follows :
SECTION I
An increase in the regular property tax levy for the Emergency Rescue Fund is hereby
authorized for the levy to be collected in the 2010 tax year .
SECTION II
The dollar amount of the increase over the actual levy amount from the previous year
shall be Nine Thousand Three Hundred Forty- Five Dollars and Ninety- Six Cents ( $ 9 , 345 . 96 )
which is a percentage increase of . 848 percent from the preceding year . This increase is
exclusive of additional revenue resulting from new construction, improvements to property ,
newly constructed wind turbines , any increase in the value of state assessed property , any
annexations that have occurred , and any refunds made .

SECTION III
Ordinance No . 2566 be and the same is hereby repealed .
SECTION IV
This Ordinance shall take force and be in effect five days from and after its publication
according to law .
