ORD 2577 ORDINANCE NO . 957 #7
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 35 , 000 . 00 from the Storm Water
Drainage Fund to pay for costs incurred from two storm water pond
failures , and amending the Budget for the year 2009 to provide for
such expenditure .
WHEREFORE , there were two storm water pond failures this year resulting in significant water
backups , and
WHEREAS , City staff was required to rent excavators and purchase gravel , piping , and rock
in order to repair the damage from the storm water pond failures , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated funds in the storm water drainage fund to provide
for such expenditure,
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS
AS FOLLOWS .
Section I
There is hereby appropriated from the Storm Water Drainage Fund the sum of $ 35 , 000 . 00 to
pay for repair costs incurred for two storm water pond failures . Said appropriation shall be allocated
as follows :

Section II
Ordinance No . 2528 and the Budget for the year 2009 are amended to provide for the
aforestated expenditures .
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
