ORD 2575 ORDINANCE NO . 2575
AN ORDINANCE amending Section 13 . 86 . 060 of the Camas
Municipal Code by increasing the rate for collection of recyclables
from $ 2 . 90 per month to $ 3 . 32 per month , and amending Section
13 . 86 . 065 of the Camas Municipal Code by amending the rates for
collection of recyclable yard debris to $ 6 . 73 per month or $ 64 . 06
per year .
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
Section 13 . 86 . 060 of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
13 . 86 . 060 Rates for Recyclable Collection
The rate for collection of recyclables shall be $ 3 . 32 per month for each
residential unit .
Section II
Section 13 . 86 . 065 of the Camas Municipal Code is amended to provide as follows :
13 . 86 . 065 Rates for Yard Debris Collection
The rates for collection of recyclable yard debris shall be as follows :
a) Basic yard debris service shall include the pick up of one 90 gallon
yard debris container every other week . The rate for basic service
shall be $ 6 . 73 per month , or $ 64 . 06 per year .
b ) Excess material of yard debris set out in excess of the basic service
amount shall be charged at the rate of $ 2 . 33 per 32 gallon can or
kraft bag .
C) Restart Fee . Customers who stop and then restart yard debris
recycling services without having completed one year shall be
charged a $ 21 . 02 restart fee .
Section III
This ordinance shall be published according to law and shall be effective January 1 , 2010 .
