AN ORDINANCE adopting a revised Zoning Map in accordance
with the goals and requirements of Chapter 36 . 70A , Revised Code of
Washington , also known the Growth Management Act .
WHEREAS , the City of Camas is required to update its Comprehensive Plan in
accordance with the goals and requirements of Chapter 36 . 70A , Revised Code of Washington ,
the Growth Management Act ; and
WHEREAS , the City is required to adopt a Zoning Map that implements the plans and
policies of the Comprehensive Plan ; and
WHEREAS , the City adopted a Comprehensive Plan Map for all areas within the City
Urban Growth Boundary pursuant to Ordinance 2502 , adopted December 17 , 2007 ; and
WHEREAS , the City annexed certain properties into the City through Ordinances 2510 ,
2511 , 2512 , 2513 and 2514 on April 21 , 2008 while reserving at that time implementation of
adopted zoning for said areas ; and
WHEREAS , the City has recently completed a review of the proposed zoning for the
described areas ; and
WHEREAS , it is necessary to revise the City' s Zoning Map for the annexed properties as
described herein .
NOW , THEREFORE , THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS :
Section I
The Amended Zoning Map attached hereto is hereby adopted as the official Zoning Map
of the City of Camas .
Section II
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
