ORD 2566 ORDINANCE No .
AN ORDINANCE levying the ad valorem taxes for
the Emergency Rescue Fund for fiscal year ending
December 31 , 2010 .
WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Camas has met and considered its budget for the
calendar year 2010 , and
WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Camas after hearing and after duly considering all
relevant evidence and testimony presented , determined that the City of Camas requires a levy in
the amount of $ 1 , 092 , 772 . 44 , which includes a decrease of . 848 % in property tax revenue from
the previous year, and excludes amounts resulting from the addition of new construction and
improvements to property and any increase in the value of state - assessed property , and amounts
authorized by law as a result of any annexation that have occurred and refunds made , for the
purpose of providing emergency medical services ;
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS as follows .
SECTION I
A decrease of . 848 % from the previous year in the regular property tax levy is hereby
authorized for the 2010 levy . This is exclusive of additional revenue resulting from the addition
of new construction and improvements to property and any increase in the value of state assessed
property, and any additional amounts resulting from any annexation that have occurred and
refunds made .
SECTION II
This Ordinance shall take force and be in effect five days from and after its publication
according to law .
