ORD 2632 ORDINANCE No .
AN ORDINANCE levying the ad valorem taxes for
the Emergency Rescue Fund for fiscal year ending
December 31 , 2012 .
WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Camas has met and considered its budget for the
calendar year 2012 , and
WHEREAS , the Council of the City of Camas after hearing and after duly considering all
relevant evidence and testimony presented , determined that the City of Camas requires a levy in
the amount of $ 894 , 385 . 08 ,,, which is equal to the property tax revenue from the previous year ,
and excludes amounts resulting from the addition of new construction and improvements to
property and any increase in the value of state - assessed property , and amounts authorized by law
as a result of any annexation that have occurred and refunds made , for the purpose of providing
emergency medical services ;
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS as follows :
SECTION I
No increase or decrease from the previous year in the regular property tax levy is hereby
authorized for the 2012 levy .
This is exclusive of additional revenue resulting from the addition of new construction
and improvements to property and any increase in the value of state assessed property , and any
additional amounts resulting from any annexation that have occurred and refunds made .
SECTION II
This Ordinance shall take force and be in effect five days from and after its publication
according to law .
