ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 85 , 000 . 00 from the
Equipment Rental Fund for the purchase of a new backhoe , and
amending the Budget for the year 2011 to provide for such
expenditure .
WHEREAS , the City ' s 19 year old backhoe that had been planned for replacement in 2012 is
no longer operable , and
WHEREAS , the Public Works Director desires to purchase a new backhoe to be used for
summer and fall season prof ects , and
WHEREAS , there are sufficient unappropriated retained earnings in the Equipment Rental
Fund to pay for such expenditure ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
Section I
The sum of $ 85 , 000 . 00 is hereby appropriated from the Equipment Rental Fund to pay for
the acquisition of a backhoe . Said appropriation shall be allocated as follows :

Section II
Ordinance No . 2608 and the Budget for the year 2011 are amended to provide for the
aforestated expenditure .

Section III

according to law .
