AN ORDINANCE appropriating $ 100 , 000 . 00 from the General
Fund to pay for employee expenses i.n the Fire Department, and
amending the Budget for the year 2012 to provide for such
expenditure .
WHEREAS , the City received a grant from FEMA. for the Staffing for Fire and. Emergency
Response ( SAFER) grant to fund three new employees , and
WHEREAS , one and one � half employees are to be paid from. the General Fund , and
WHEREAS , the fire depailm.ent also incurred overtime costs in excess of the allocated
budget , and.
WHEREAS , there are $ 40 , 000 . 00 .•om. federal grant monies and. $ 60 , 000 . 00 from

NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS
Section I
