AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of
a portion of N.E. Adams Street.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section I
By Resolution 656 adopted May 14, 1990, the City Council,
at the request of the abutting property owners, initiated proceedings
to vacate a portion of N.E. Adams Street as hereinafter described.
Said resolution set Monday, the 25th day of June, 1990 at 7:00
p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall of Camas, Washington,
as the time and place for a public hearing on said resolution.
Pursuant to said resolution, the City Clerk caused notices to be
posted and mailed in accordance with the requirements of law.
At the time and place set for said hearing, no person appeared
and objected to said vacation.
Section II
The following described portion of N.E. Adams Street of the
City of Camas be and the same is hereby vacated, subject to the
terms and conditions set forth hereinafter:
County of Clark, State of Washington
Vacation of a portion of N.E. Adams Street located in
the Cowan's Addition in the Southeast Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter of Section 11, Township l North,
Range 3 East of the Willamette Meridian, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot l, Block 8,
said point lying on the North right of way line of
N.E. llth Avenue; thence North 200 feet along the
West right of way'of N.E. Adams Street to the
Northeast corner of Lot 4 of Block 8; thence East
66 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 5, Block 7
of said Addition; thence South 200 feet along the
East right of way line of N.E. Adams Street to the
Southwest corner of Lot l, Block 7 of said Addition;
thence West 66 feet to the point of beginning
Section III
Said vacation is made subject to the following terms and conditions:
A. The City of Camas reserves an easement over, under and
across said vacated street for the installation, operation, mainten-
ance, and repair of a sanitary sewer line, a water line, and storm
sewer line.

B. All lots under common ownership abutting the vacated street
must be consolidated in the records of the Clark County Assessor's
Office so as to eliminate any lots without frontage on a public
street.
c. The abutting property owners shall pay to the City of
Camas the expense of publishing this ordinance and the fees for
recording a certified copy hereof.
Section IV
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days from and after its publication according to law. Prior to
publishing this ordinance, the Clerk shall have received in its
office sufficient funds to pay the expenses of publishing this
ordinance and the fees for recording a certified copy.
