AN ORDINANCE appropriating $10,000.00 from
the City Street Fund for the purchase and in-
stallation of street name signs, and amending
the Budget for the City of Camas for the year
1990 to provide for such expenditure.
-WHEREAS, the City has heretofore adopted Ordinance 1747 annexing
to the City of Camas approximately 1,475 acres previously located
in Clark County, and
WHEREAS, the City has previously adopted Ordinance 1759 changing
the names of streets within the area annexed so as to have said
street names conform with the City of Camas grid system, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to erect new signs identifying the
new names of streets within the annexed area, and
WHEREAS, the estimated costs of the signs and installation
of the same is $10,000.00, and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds in the City Street Fund
for such expenditure, and
WHEREAS, said expenditure was not provided for in the 1990 Budget,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section I
The sum of $10,000.00 is hereby appropriated from unappropriated
funds in the City Street Fund and allocated as follows:

Section II
Ordinance 1739 and the Budget of the City of Camas for the
year 1990 are amended to provide for the aforestated expenditure.
Section III
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five (5)
days from and after its publication according to law.
