A RESOLUTION repealing certain provisions of Resolution 976
and Resolution 1240 and directing the amendment of the Camas
Design Standards Manual to include an Access Spacing Standards
Table.
WHEREAS, the City adopted the Design Standards Manual by Resolution No. 948 as
amended by Resolution No. 1071; and
WHEREAS, the City adopted certain access spacing standards in Table 6-1 of the Camas
Traffic Impact Fee (TIP) update, dated November 2003 and May 2012; and
WHEREAS, the City Council updated the Comprehensive Plan in Ordinance 16-010,
which adopted, through the Transportation chapter, certain street goals and policies related to
interconnected streets, block lengths, and the minimization of access to new development and
redevelopment along the City's arterials; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the access spacing standards as
referenced in Resolution 1240 and Resolution 976 in conformity with the Comprehensive Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Camas as
follows:
Section I
Resolution 976, Section III, as heretofore adopted on November 24, 2003, is hereby
repealed.
Section II
Resolution 1240, Section VII, as heretofore adopted on May 21, 2012, is hereby repealed.

Section III
The Access Spacing Standards (Table 6-1), as otherwise referenced in Resolution 1240,
Section VII, and in Resolution 976, Section III, shall be amended as set forth in the attached
Exhibit "A". The City Engineer is directed to add the amended Access Spacing Standards Table
as set forth in the attached Exhibit "A" to the City of Camas Design Standards Manual,
