A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor to sign two Quit
Claim Deeds releasing easements and a right of entry in property
being condemned by the State of Washington .
WHEREAS,the City was granted an easement for water line,storm sewer line and utility
purposes by instrument recorded under Clark County Auditor's File No.G497247,and
WHEREAS,the City has never utilized said easement and there are no utility lines
constructed within the boundaries of said easement,and
WHEREAS,the City was granted an easement to maintain a STEP sanitary sewer
collection system by instrument recorded under Clark County Auditor's File No.9405170173,
and
WFIEREAS,said easement encumbers Tract A of River's Edge subdivision,and
WHEREAS,there are no STEP sewer facilities within the boundaries of Tract A,and
City has no need to have the easement encumbering Tract A,and
WHEREAS,the final plat for River's Edge granted to the City a right of entry to maintain
and repair STEP sewer facilities,and
WHEREAS,there are no STEP sewer facilities located within Tract A of the River's
Edge subdivision,and
WHEREAS,the State of Washington,Department of Transportation has commenced
condemnation proceedings that affect Tract A of the River's Edge Homeowner's Association,and
WHEREAS,the City of Camas has been named as a defendant in said proceedings by
virtue of the aforedescribed easements and right of entry,and
WHEREAS,the City desires to relinquish the easements and the right of entry,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I
The Mayor is authorized to sign a Quit Claim Deed relinquishing the easement recorded
under Clark County Auditor's File No.G497247.
SECTION II
The Mayor is authorized to sign a Quit Claim Deed releasing Tract A of the River's Edge
Subdivision from the utility easement recorded under Clark County Auditor's File No.
9405170173,and from the right of entry reserved in Note 5 of the final plat for River's Edge
Subdivision.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Camas this -f day of
July,2010 .

HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION,a Washington nonprofit corporation,all right,title and
interest in and to the following described real property,including any title hereinafter acquired by
Grantor,situate in the County of Clark,State of Washington:
Tract A,River's Edge,Volume "H"of plats,Page 987,records of Clark
County,Washington.
The purpose of this Quit Claim Deed is to release the above-described real property from
the easement granted to the City of Camas by instrument recorded on May 17,1994,under Clark
County Auditor's File No.9405170173.The foregoing Quit Claim Deed releases only the
property described above from the easement,and the City specifically retains its easement on all
other property described in the instrument recorded under Auditor's File No.9405170173.
This instrument is further intended to release the foregoing property from the right of
entry granted to the City of Camas as disclosed in Note 5 of the final plat of River's Edge as
recorded in Volume "H"of plats,page 987,records of Clark County,Washington.
