RES 780RESOLUTION NO. I J-o A RESOLUTION setting a public hearing concerning the proposed vacation of a portion of NW 16th Avenue. WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Camas has been requested by the abutting property owners to vacate a portion of NW 16th Avenue as hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Council of the City of Camas to fix a time and place for a public hearing to be held on the proposed street vacation: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Council of the City of Camas, at the request of the abutting property owners, does hereby initiate proceedings to vacate a portion of NW 16th Avenue, more particularly described as follows: The 30 foot wide portion of NW 16th Avenue on the north side of Lot 1 and Lot 2 of Karen Hills and Lot 94, which is directly east of and adjacent to Lot 2 of Karen Hills; and east of east right of way line of NW Hood Street; except for the portion of NW 16th A venue which lies west of said east right of way line of NW Hood Street and north of the platted right of way line for Shelbom Subdivision. Section 2. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation of the aforedescribed portion of NW 16th Avenue on the 9th day of October, 1995, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall. Section 3. The Clerk is hereby directed to post and mail notices of this hearing as required by law.
