RESOLUTIONNO./C^VARESOLUTIONadoptingtheperformancepolicy,standardsandobjectivesoutlinedinSubstituteHouseBill1756asCamasFireDepartment'sEmergencyResourceDeploymentandResponseTimeObjectives.WHEREAS,CamasFireDepartmentislegallyestablishedasafiredepartmentthroughCityChartertoprovidecertainemergencymedical,fireandrescueservices;and,WHEREAS,CamasFireDepartmenthasamissionstatementandgoalsandobjectivestoguidetheorganizationinprovidingfireandmedicalservicestoourcommunity;and,WHEREAS,CamasFireDepartmenthasabasicorganizationalstructurewhichmayincludetheelectedofficials,Chief,Officers,Firefighters,ParamedicsandFireMarshal’s,WHEREAS,CamasFireDepartmenthasacertainnumberofmembersnowandinthefuturewhoperformthetasksrequiredtoaccomplishourresponseobjectives;and,WHEREAS,CamasFireDepartmentisrequiredbystatelawtoestablishturnoutandresponsetimegoalsforthefirstarrivingBasicLifeSupport,AdvancedLifeSupportandFireEngineresponsestofiresuppressioncallsandresponsetimegoalsforafullalarmassignmentforFireEngineresponsestofiresuppressioncalls;and,WHEREAS,CamasFireDepartmenthasevaluatedtheelementsidentifiedinSHB1756andincludedthoseprovisionsdeemedappropriateintheDepartment’semergencyservicedelivery;and,WHEREAS,CamasFireDepartmenthasdevelopedwrittenresponsecoverageobjectivesrequiredtocomplywithapplicableprovisionsofSHB1756.NOW,THEREFOREBEITRESOLVED,bytheCounciloftheCityofCamasasfollows:SectionITheCityCouncilherebyadoptstheattachedPolicyStatementsastheCamasFireDepartment'sofficialpolicyfordeterminingemergencymedical,fireandrescueresourcedeployment.SectionIITheattachedPolicyStatementsofficiallydefinetheCamasFireDepartment'swrittenpoliciesandproceduresthatestablishthedistributionandconcentrationoffixedandmobileresourcesofthedepartment.
