RES 1082RESOLUTION NO
A RESOLUTION setting a public hearing concerning the proposed
vacation of a portion of SE 202nd Court within the Hinton/Hannah Annexation area.
WHEREAS,the City has received a request from Allen Hannah,Maria Hannah,and
Sanny H.Huey to vacate a portion of SE 202nd Court,and
WHEREAS,the portion of SE 202nd court to be vacated is abutted by properties owned
by Allen Hannah,Maria Hannah,and Sanny H.Huey,and
WHEREAS,the Council of the City of Camas desires to initiate vacation proceedings for
the street to be vacated,and
WHEREAS,it is necessary for the Council to fix a time and place for a public hearing to
be held on the proposed street vacation,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS:
Section I
The Council of the City of Camas does hereby initiate proceedings to vacate the
following described portion of SE 202nd Court described in Exhibit “A”attached hereto and by
this reference incorporated herein.
Section II
A public hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation on the 6th day of November
2006,at 7:00 p.m.in the Council Chambers of the City Hall.
Section III
The City Clerk is directed to give twenty (20)days notice of the hearing by posting
written notice in three of the most public places in the City of Camas,by posting a like notice on
that portion of the street to be vacated,and by mailing notice to the abutting property owners at
least (15)days prior to the date of hearing.
ADOPTED at a regular session of the City Council of the City of Camas this 2nd day of
October 2006.

That strip of land 30 feet in width conveyed to Clark County,Washington by Robert Dale
Walden-and Florence E.Walden via quit claim deed,as recorded in Auditors File
G 589397,Clark County Records,said strip being the west thirty (30 )feet of the
following described real property :
The East half of that portion of Section 8,T.IN.,R.3 E.,W .M.,described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the land conveyed to Marion Mansfield ,et ux ,by
deed recorded under Auditor’s File No.G25335,records of said County;thence North
along the West line thereof ,748 feet,more or less,to a point that is 730 feet South of the
North line of said Section;thence Easterly,parallel with said North line 586.08 feet,more
or less,to the East line of said Mansfield tract ;thence Southerly along said East line,748
feet ,more or less,to the Southeast corner of said land ;thence West along the South line
thereof,586.08 feet ,more or less,to the point of beginning.
