RES 932RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION revising the speed limit on certain streets
located in the City of Camas.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS FOLLOWS:
Section I
The Council of the City of Camas finds upon the basis of engineering and traffic studies
that the speed permitted on certain streets needs to be revised from current speed limits.
Section II
It is hereby declared that the speed limit for the following described streets or sections
thereof be established as hereinafter set forth:
A.That section of NW Astor Street from a point 100 feet north of its intersection
with NW 38th Avenue to the intersection of NW 38th Avenue—30 miles per hour.
B.That section of NW 38th Avenue from its intersection with NW Astor Street to
a point 100 feet west of the western boundary of the Grass Valley Park—30 miles per hour.
C.That section of NW 38th Avenue from its intersection with Parker Street to a
point 100 feet west of the western boundary of the Grass Valley Park -35 miles per hour.
D.That section of 16th Avenue from its intersection with Brady Road to Tidland
Street -20 miles per hour .
E.That section of Tidland Street from its intersection with 16th Avenue to 18th
Avenue -20 miles per hour.
Section III
The Public Works Director is directed to erect signs giving notice of the revised speed
limits.
ADOPTED by the Council at a regular meeting this day of April,2002.
