RES 927RESOLUTION NO ,
A RESOLUTION revising the amount of school impact fees.
WHEREAS,the City has heretofore adopted a school impact fee ordinance,Ordinance
1921,authorizing the imposition of a school impact fee,and
WHEREAS,the Growth Management Act authorizes the collection of impact fees by the
City of Camas for school facilities,and
WHEREAS,the Council has recognized that growth has or will cause Camas School
District facilities to be over capacity,and
WHEREAS,the Camas School District has amended its Capital Facilities Plan to add
additional capital facilities which are necessary to serve new growth and which sets forth the
need for new school facilities,and
WHEREAS,the Camas School District revised Capital Facilities Plan establishes using
the formula of Ordinance 1921 maximum impact fees of $4,060.00 for single-family residences
and $2,732.00 per multi-family unit,and
WHEREAS,the Camas School District has adopted a resolution recommending impact
fees of $2,000.00 per single-family residence and $500.00 per multi-family unit,and
WHEREAS,the Council of the City of Camas has considered the Capital Facilities Plan
of the School District and the School District’s recommendation at a regular meeting of the City
Council on November 26,2001,and a workshop of the Council and the School Board on August
27,2001.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS :
School impact fees for single-family residences within the Camas School District and the
City of Camas shall be $2,000.00,and for multi-family residences within the Camas School
District and the City of Camas shall be $500.00 per multi-family unit.
