A RESOLUTION re-adopting Resolution 882,and adopting ascheduleoffeesforvariousfirepreventionactivitiesincluding
plan reviews and inspections of fire related items provided for intheUniformFireCode.
WHEREAS,on October 25,1999,the City Council adopted Resolution No.882,which
established fees for various fire prevention activities,including plan reviews and inspections,and
WHEREAS,Washington voters have approved Initiative 722,which in part invalidates
all tax and fee increases adopted by local governments between July 2,1999,and December 31,
1999,and
WHEREAS,several cities have filed suit challenging the constitutionality of Initiative
722,and
WHEREAS,due to the uncertainty regarding the passage of Initiative 722 and the legal
challenges thereto,the City Council desires to re-adopt Resolution No.882,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CAMAS AS FOLLOWS:
Section I
Resolution No.882,which established fees for various fire prevention activities,
including plan reviews and inspections,is hereby re-adopted,confirmed and ratified effective
January 1,2000.
Section II
The City hereby imposes the following schedule of fees for fire prevention activities
including plan review and inspection for Uniform Fire Code compliance:

If any section,clause or phrase of this ordinance is declared unconstitutional or invalid
for any reason,such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of the
ordinance.
Section IV
Resolution No.838 is hereby repealed.
