ORD 2273 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Camas , Washington ,
approving and confirming the assessments and the assessment
roll for Local Improvement District No . 220 for the extension
of a water main on SE Brady Road and Vista Del Rio Drive ,
WHEREAS , notice of the time and place of hearing upon the assessment roll for Local
Improvement District No . 220 (the "District ") of the City of Camas , Washington (the " City") was
duly and regularly given to all property owners within the District by publication thereof and by
mailing to all property owners or reputed property owners whose names appeared on said
assessment roll in the manner provided by law ; and
WHEREAS , at the time and place fixed for said hearing the City Council met and
considered said assessment roll and the objections filed against said assessment roll , and
WHEREAS , the total cost of the water main improvement was $ 49 , 926 . 59 , which cost is
to be borne by special assessment against the properties benefited thereby,
NOW , THEREFORE , THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS :
Section I
The assessments and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No . 220 of the City
in the total amount of $ 49 , 926 . 59 as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference
incorporated herein be and the same are in all respects approved and confirmed .
Section II
Each of the lots , tracts , parcels of land and other property shown upon the assessment roll
are hereby declared to be specifically benefited by said improvements in at least the amount
charged against the same , and the assessment appearing against each such lot , tract , parcel of
land and other property is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon said
assessment roll .
Section III
There is hereby levied and assessed against each such lot , tract , parcel of land and other
property appearing on said assessment roll the amount finally charged against the same thereon

as shown in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein .

Section IV
The amount of each assessment or any portion thereof may be paid without penalty,
interest or costs at any time within thirty ( 30 ) days from the date of the first publication of this
ordinance . Thereafter the sum remaining unpaid , if any, may be paid in ten ( 10 ) equal annual
installments with interest on the whole unpaid sum at the rate of seven and one - half ( 7 . 5 % )
percent per annum . The first annual installment , plus accrued interest , shall be due one ( 1 ) year
and thirty ( 30 ) days following publication of this ordinance . Each year thereafter the remaining
installment , plus accrued interest , shall be due and payable on the anniversary of the due date for
the first installment . All of the unpaid assessment plus accrued interest may be paid on any
anniversary date without penalty .
Section V
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 ) days from and after its publication
according to law .
