ORD 2026 ORDINANCE NO .
AN ORDINANCE repealing Section 2 . 68 . 060 ( B )
of the Camas Municipal Code .
WHEREAS , Section 2 . 68 . 060 of the Camas Municipal Code permits
the Council to grant employees a leave of absence without pay for
a period not to exceed ninety ( 90 ) days , and
WHEREAS , Subsection B of Section 2 . 68 . 060 of the Camas Municipal
Code provides that employees of the fire department , police department
and city library are not entitled to leaves of absence without
pay , and
WHEREAS , there is no longer any justification distinguishing
between employees of the police department , fire department and
city library from other employees of the city ,
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CAMAS AS FOLLOWS
Section I
Section 2 . 68 . 060 ( B ) of the Camas Municipal Code is hereby
repealed .
Section II
This ordinance shall take force and be in effect five ( 5 )
its publication according to law .
