A RESOLUTION prohibiting parking on portions
of North West Fargo Street and North West 28th Avenue
WHEREAS, Council has awarded bid authorization for the 2026 Pavement Preservation Project;
WHEREAS, said project includes the repaving and restriping of North West Fargo Street and
North West 28th Avenue;
WHEREAS, in conjunction with said restriping, bicycle lanes are to be added to the roadway section of
North West Fargo Street and North West 28tt1 A venue;
WHEREAS, adding bicycle lanes eliminates the necessary width between curbs for on-street parking in
certain locations on North West Fargo Street and North West 28th A venue;
WHEREAS, the Council finds that it is in the public interest to restrict parking at these
locations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CAMAS AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I
There shall be no parking permitted on either side of North West Fargo Street from North
West 18th Avenue to 100 feet North of North West 24th Avenue.
There shall be no parking permitted on the North Side of North West Fargo Street and North
West 28th Avenue from 100 feet northwest of North West 24111 Avenue to North West Utah Street.
SECTION II
Pursuant to Camas Municipal Code 10.08.0lOB the City Engineer is authorized and directed to
erect appropriate signage giving notice of the parking restriction.
SECTION III
This resolution shall be effective upon the erection of new signs by the City Engineer.
